What is a snow guard?

Our 5 styles of Snow Guards are injection molded using virgin UV stabilized Lexan polycarbonate.  We have been manufacturing them here in the USA for over 25 years.     

Snow Guards are designed to attach to your metal roof to help retain snow and ice on your roof.   This gives it the chance to melt off over time, rather than have it slide off in a large sheet or chunk which our industry refers to as the avalanche effect.

Why are they important? 

Without snow guards this avalanche effect can damage gutters, people or objects, as large chunks, pieces or flows of snow and ice slide off unprotected roofs.
